LMP Fun Week Review - Day 1 & 2

April 5, 2018

EPC’s ‘LET ME PLAY’ EGGSTRASPECIAL EASTER HUNT started yesterday, with the EPC team welcoming 35 fabulous children to our camp at Wildridings Primary School, all taking part in a variety of different activities throughout the day.

Here are a few of the many activities the children have been getting up too…

Swimming returned today with the amazing Lauren delivering sessions for children of all ages and abilities. The younger groups today worked hard on their front crawl today, working with the noodles and frog floats. The children finished off with intense frog races.

The older/more able groups all enjoyed free play and games in the pool such as: races, time trials and volleyball.

The children all really made a splash!

Abbi and Emily’s marvelous performing arts/dance sessions have started with a bang!! The children have been focusing primarily on Singing and Dancing, with all the children playing and taking part in a variety of different games/activities, such as: Dance routines, Musical Statues, team performances and finishing off with our daily EGG’S FACTOR KARAOKE COMPETITION!!

Tomorrow, the children will be using various props, costumes and face paints to rehearse for our very own EPC’s GOT TALENT contest. The winner will receive our fabulous trophy “Performer of the day”

All the children taking part so far have been marvelous, definitely some future A-list stars amongst us!!

Despite wet and winding conditions, our racers have twisted and turned round the track in a variety of different relay style races!! All our racers taking part in the go-karting were all lightning fast and steady behind the wheel!

Monday’s winners were the Easter Bunnies… I must say, they were a CRACKING team!!

In the lower-halll, our laser-tag arena was set… the children fought hard in 4v4 battles and capture the flag style games, with several hiding places for stealthy and sneaky players!!

On both days the children finished their sessions with an intense battle, with the red team coming out on top!!

With only two days remaining this week, the red’s are currently in a 2-0 lead, however, the next two days points will be DOUBLED!!

Aside from the above activities, we also had several activities for the children today, with dodgeball and football tournaments, wii games, arts and crafts and general free-play activities for the children to explore!!

We also had an EGG Hunt’s for children, with groups working together in search of the various egg’s around the school! Each group got a set of tricky clues to guide them on their way!! Tomorrow’s Egg Hunt will have a time trial, if you don’t complete the task in the allotted time… NO PRIZES!!!!! I’m sure all the wonderful children will manage!

The rest of the week promises to be even better, with all of the above activities available for the children, as well as a few more surprises for the children!!

If you wish to book on for any further days this week, there is still space!!! Please book online at https://www.e-p-c.co.uk/fun-weeks or contact us via email at info@e-p-c.co.uk

We hope to see all your children with us for the remainder of the week; we can assure you your children will have an EGGstremely good time!!!
