Let Me Play - Day One Review

February 19, 2018

EPC’s ‘LET ME PLAY’ fun week started off today with a bang!! (not literally, don’t panic!). Today we welcomed 40 fabulous children to our camp at Wildridings Primary School, all taking part in a variety of different activities throughout the day.

Swimming returned today with the amazing Lauren delivering sessions for children of all ages and abilities. The younger groups today worked hard on their front crawl today, with a real emphasis on their kicking! The younger children ended each session with Frog races, which was hotly contested!

The older/more able groups all enjoyed free play and games in the pool such as: races, time trials and volleyball.

The children all really made a splash!

Abbi’s talented performers were all showing off their skills today, with performances and routines, which were truly something to behold!

The children primarily focused on their dancing and signing with each group bringing their practice to finish with group performances, which were very impressive!

Aside from the dancing and singing, the children were also able to explore with a variety of different circus skills and dress up which engaged the imagination of the children!

Go Karting Day 1 was certainly a good one!! The EPC team set up a tricky and intense track, which saw groups of children race head-to-head in several battles. All of our battles also included a Mario style twist, with the spectating children engaging in bowling objects towards to the karts to slow them down!!

Today’s Karting certainly would have appealed to all Mario lovers!!

In the upper-hall, our lazer-tag arena was set… the children engaged in 4v4 battles and capture the flag style games in an army-themed arena, with several hiding places for stealthy and sneaky players!!

All children were highly competitive (In a positive way) and also embarrassed coach Jake, beating him on several occasions… a forfeit is certainly heading his way!

Aside from the above activities, we also had several activities for the children today, with dodgeball and football tournaments, wii games, arts and crafts and general free-play activities for the children to explore!!

Day 2 promises to be another special day, with all of the above activities available for the children!!

If you wish to book on for any further days this week, there is still space!!! Please book online at https://www.e-p-c.co.uk/fun-weeks or contact us via email at info@e-p-c.co.uk

We hope to see all your children with us for the remainder of the week, we can assure you your children will have lots of FUN!!!!
