Our Academy Centre aims to Identify, Develop & Progress talented players who attend our programme, offering them a great opportunity to improve.

The EPC deliver ‘Invite – Only’ Academy Centres in Bracknell to Boys & Girls in the U7 – U11 age groups on our fantastic 3G facility at Easthampstead Park School, Bracknell.

Our Academy Centre’s were set up to offer more opportunities to talented young players who we feel are not receiving the correct coaching and guidance to fulfil their potential. We endeavour to create a positive learning environment for each individual which gives them the best possible chance of developing & progressing from an Academy Centre. All EPC players train 90 minutes per week alongside their team training, therefore offering an additional training night for players to learn & improve in a different coaching environment.

Our Academy Centre is structured & delivered in a 32-week seasonal training programme that allows players to learn & achieve different targets throughout our season syllabus that is emailed to parents upon joining. Our syllabus has been created by Dan Sleet & Lee Simpson who have the vital experience of working with Academy players at Professional Clubs, therefore offering the best possible coaching environment for our players. Before our 32-week season commences, all players & parents receive our seasonal syllabus that explains the weekly focuses in extra detail. The syllabus created is challenging & realistic, and allows the player to learn a variety of key focuses needed to progress. For more information about our syllabus & what is includes, please visit our Philosphy page.

Whilst training with the EPC, all players receive an Academy training kit & jumper that must be worn at every session they attend in order for our sessions to feel & look professional at all times. We like to create and maintain a professional environment where players feel important, therefore with all young players being in EPC kit, we achieve the professional feel of the Academy.

To further develop players potential & game awareness, we run a series of fixtures throughout the season as part of our PDP Games Programme against Academies of Professional Clubs, as well as Semi – Pro & External Academies. The more fixtures young players can play, the more they will learn in a game environment, which ultimately fulfils potential. We aim to organise games for every age group in a variety of match formats.

At the end of every term, all players recieve a personal assessment report that is unique to that individual which clearly indicates players strengths & areas to work on from the Directors of Coaching. We also include a variety of 'Home Learning Activities' that are unique and beneficial to our players, offering them another chance of developing their ability further.

"Ella started with EPC aged 7. Dan & Lee, helped Ella believe in herself and realise her potential. With their endless words of encouragement, her confidence grew and grew.

Now aged 12, Ella has signed her 4th season at Reading FC Academy. In October 2016, Ella was one of the youngest players to attend the girls England Performance Camp. The FA have invited her to attend the next Camp in February 2017.

Ella's very grateful for Dan & Lee's continued words of  support."

"My time with EPC started aged 7 when I attended a EPC training session at school. After a few sessions I was invited to join their elite training program as an U8.

This was a great experience for me as the coaching team not only helped to develop my football, but also made me feel more confidence in my game.  Their support was outstanding and they gave me the chance to really challenge myself by playing up against the older age groups.

After a year with EPC I was given the opportunity to attend a 6 week trial at Fulham FC which ended with me being signed as an U9.  I am now in year 6 and have been signed for my second year as an U11.

My experience with EPC and the individual support I received from Dan and Lee was exceptional.  Without doubt they made a massive contribution to the success I've had so far."

“Since I’ve been part of EPC I feel I have really improved my movement both off and on the ball and I have got better with my skills. I really enjoy the courses.”
